You're going to get to see Jang Geun Suk on Mnet's new competitive reality program, 'Produce 101'! The show will be an audition survival program targeting 101 female trainees from both national and international companies.  The ten finalists will form a project group and promote music with the backing of CJ E&M for a year.The trainees have entered their share house on December 5 for filming and the show will start airing soon!

During the press conference on January 21, Jang Geun Suk gave the reason on why he decided to MC for the show, saying, "The program's role is to make it easier for 101 people to get close to and achieve their dreams. I got interested after I heard of the show's goal to bring to the screen these girls' beautiful dreams. I hope everyone has fun watching the program."

Jang Keun Suk to Release 2nd Japanese Album "Nature Boy"

Jang Keun Suk will release his second Japanese album ‘Nature Boy‘on May 29th. There will be a limited version with a DVD, and a regular version. The regular version will include “Love Letter“, the Korean song he composed and wrote the lyrics for. The album will have 10 songs, including the title song “Nature Boy”, amongst other songs titled “Love Is Black Hole“, “Poison” and more. To commemorate the release, he’ll be holding a ‘Nature Boy Birthday Count Down’ event on May 28th at Tokyo Zepp.

Jang Keun Suk had a Car Accident

On the 21st, Actor/Singer Jang Keun Suk (26) was involved in a car accident. He was driving on the Incheon International Airport highway when his car suddenly experienced a flat tire and ended up bumping into a nearby bus. Although there were some damages to both cars, there were no serious injuries.

On February 19th, Jang Geun Suk revealed the music video for “Feel the Beat“ on his personal Weibo. The music video is said to have been receiving positive response since the release in China. On the December 18th episode of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, actress Park Shin Hye revealed she had a kiss scene with actor Jang Geun Suk immediately after they met for the first time. “It was when we were filming for a cosmetic CF,” the actress began. “It was a lipstick commercial (for Etude) and I was partnered up with Jang Geun Suk. I remember it was the first time that we met. After we said hello to each other, we immediately had to film a kiss scene while hanging on a wire.” She then added, “There’s probably no other lipstick commercial that has a kiss scene in it,” and confirmed that their lips really did touch. “After that, we filmed the drama ‘You’re Beautiful‘.”

The International Herald Tribune is one of the top 10 newspapers in the world, and a full-page ad for Jang Geun Suk’s 20th anniversary appeared on the newspaper for the 22nd and 23rd. The ad will appear one more time in early January as well. Jang Keun Suk goes to China for Hunan TV’s countdown party

On Dec 30th, so many stars arrived in Changsha. Jang Keun Suk has most fans showed up. In order to cater to the preferences of their idol, his fans all wore leopard print.  JKS will perform at Hunan TV’s new year countdown concert. Last year, this show’s viewership ranked No.1 amongst the 16 new year shows in the whole of China.
