Rilis album pertama ini mengingatkannya pada saat-saat pertama ia menyanyi di hadapan publik. "Saya masih menyimpan terus video itu. Saat itu, saya masih berumur 21 tahun. Pada waktu itu, saya tak punya lagu milik saya sendiri dan menyanyikan lagu orang lain. Untuk bisa berdiri di atas panggung saja sudah luar biasa. Saya sangat gugup dan pikiran saya jadi kosong samasekali. Sekarang tentu saja Jang Geun Suk sudah lebih tenang dalam menyanyi, seperti di Cri How di Hong Kong, setiap gerak dan posenya memancarkan kilauan seorang penyanyi.

The reward of singing
Having acted as a singer or musician in the past, many mistakenly thought that JKS was a singer, but actually he was an actor until this year when JKS can claim to be a singer too. “Being a singer in drama and in real life is really different. During acting, all the scenes are pre-determined; the actor only follows the character. But as a real singer releasing my album in Japan and topping the sales chart after a couple of days, this phenomenon is even more dramatic than television and incredible. I am more touched by this, because this is not pre-determined. This comes from my hard work. I feel very fortunate to receive everyone’s affirmation.”
His first album release has also made JKS recall his first public singing performance. “I kept that video. That was when I was 21 years old. Just thinking of it is horrifying. Ia memainkan musik yang dia suka, hidup dengan bebasnya di Hongdae. Ia tidak percaya akan cinta. Tapi ketika bertemu Mary, ia jatuh cinta untuk yang pertama kalinya, dan bahkan mulai mempertimbangkan untuk melanjutkan ke pernikahan. Di proses ini, ia secara perlahan beranjak dewasa. So selama syuting drama ini, saya juga tumbuh dewasa bersamanya (Mu Gyul).

Moon Geun Young: (Ketika mengetahui) Drama korea kami bisa disiarkan di Jepang, (saya merasa) terkejut dan cemas. Drama ini dibuat dalam nuansa Korea, (saya) tidak tahu apakah (drama ini nantinya) akan populer, namun (saya) sangat bahagia (drama M3 bisa disiarkan di Jepang).

Q: Berakting sebagai penyanyi dalam dua drama, apa bedanya?

Jang Geun Suk: Hwang Tae Kyung adalah anggota band idola, sedangkan Mu Gyul membenci produksi musik atau band idola. Jadi ia bermain musik di jalan, atau mengadakan pertunjukan di pub. Ia mencintai musiknya sendiri. Mereka sangat berbeda dalam hal ini. Tae Kyung juga merupakan orang yang perfeksionis, menginginkan kesempurnaan dalam hidupnya. Sementara Mu Gyul hidup dengan bebasnya dan tak mau diatur2. Jadi meskipun ia (Mu Gyul) tidak punya uang, ia hidup dengan sangat bahagia  Saya pikir dia adalah orang yang baik.

Q: Mu Gyul atau Jung In, mana yang menarik Anda dalam kehidupan nyata?

Moon Geun Young: (Kalau dilihat) dari perasaan (mereka), tidak ada perbedaan diantara mereka. Tapi (jika dilihat) dari cinta, Mu Gyul lebih menarik. Ia berani mengorbankan apa pun, dan dapat mengumpulkan keberaniannya. Sementara Jung In kurang antusias, tetapi (saya) lebih mudah berkomunikasi dengan dia, dan ada beberapa kelebihan lainnya. Q:Acted as singers in two works,what's the difference?
Jang Keun Suk: Hwang Tae Kyung is a member of idol band,while Mu Gyul hates the music production or the idol band.So he performs on the street,or do the live show in pub.He loves his own music.They differs in this respect.Moreover,Tae Kyung is a perfectionist,wish he is perfect,while Mu Gyul is free and unrestrained.So even though he has no money,he lives very happily.I think he is such a good person.
Q:Mu Gyul or Jung In,which one will attract you in real life?
Moon Geun Young:from the feelings,there is no difference between them.But from love,Mu Gyul is more attractive,he dares to give up anything,and can summon up courage while Jung In is less enthusiastic,But can communicate with him easily,and the other conditions are good.They two are very charming man from some aspects.
Jang Keun Suk:When shooting,there still has scenes which (I was)worried.The alley kiss scene should be the hottest kiss up to now,should be a explosion scene.So I work very hard on the scene...Hope you would like it.

i've just  found a funny fanfic @ ockoala.wordpress.com and decided to share it in mv format *took a whole day to finish it, pfiuuhh...* enjoy......

Scenario: Mae Ri runs over Mu Gyul, sending him back in time where he wakes up as Chang Hwe, who runs into Eun Bok, sees that she looks just like his Mae Ri, and hurries off to marry the little cross-dressing lady.

This picture story uses screencaps from Jang Geun Seok‘s Hong Gil Dong, and Moon Geun Young‘s Painter of the Wind. There are also some wickedly meta cameos in this story, which I won’t reveal and spoil the surprise. Just a refresher: in HGD, Jang Geun Seok plays Chang Hwe, an exiled prince who is back to reclaim his rightful throne, and in PotW, Moon Geun Young plays a genuis painter who must cross-dress as a boy to join the Royal Art Institute and paint for the royal family.

DNT Media Announces the Production of the Mary Stayed Out All Night DVD Set

DNT Media mengumumkan bahwa mereka akan memproduksi DVD set Mary Stayed Out All Night (Marry Me, Mary!). Perusahaan itu juga menyatakan bahwa detail spesifikasi DVD set tersebut masih bisa mengalami perubahan, jadi jangan kecewa jika ternyata hasil akhir DVD set itu berbeda dengan detail awal yang diumumkan DNT Media seperti berikut.....

DVD set nantinya akan berupa uncut version (drama MMM) atau uncut version dari sutradara (masih belum ditentukan). DVD set akan dijual secara terbatas yang akan dilampirkan dengan photoboook terdri dari 160 photo dengan banyak diantaranya yang belum pernah dipublikasikan. DVD set juga akan disertai dengan naskah dari 1 episode yang dipilih berdasarkan pilihan mayoritas fans. Dikatakan bahwa DVD Set juga akan berisi 7 jam (!!!) kumpulan adegan2 pembuatan drama, termasuk yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sama sekali!!!

DNT Media just announced that it will be producing the official Mary Stayed Out All Night (Marry Me, Mary!) DVD set. The company made a preliminary announcement yesterday, and be forewarned that the details remain subject to change. Don’t take what it is proposing to do as gospel if the final DVD set turns out considerably different than the initial proposal. For now, this is what we can expect: the set will either be an uncut version or a director’s cut version (haven’t decided yet); if it’s the uncut version, the director and his crew will reinsert the cut scenes and add the musical scores as need.

The set will be a limited purchase only, and will include a picture book containing 160 pictures, including many never-before-seen stills. It will include a script for one of the episodes (oh god, please let it NOT be the script for the horrific trainwreck that was episode 15), and the episode script will be selected based on the script the fans most want to see (I want to see episode 7).

It will include about 7 hours (!!!) of behind-the-scenes footage, including never-before-seen material. I DECREE IT MUST INCLUDE THE BTS FOR THE EPISODE 8 KISS SCENE. The entire set will be roughly the size of the Tamra the Island Director’s Cut box set. Once the commentary and interview dates are set, fans are asked to go to DNT Media’s daum café and leave questions for the cast. The commentary and interview will partially reflect the questions asked by the fans.
